Either if I launch the DayZ.exe trough steam or desktop shortcut I now get stuck in this black screen with the dayz logo and the legend "Wait a moment..." in the upper left corner.
This will go on forever, I've left it running for 35 min and it was STILL in the same black screen.
FYI I have over 1029 Hs played and I've NEVER had this issue before. Now I can't play this game D:

basically the same pc I've played with for the past >1000 hs

Sorry to hear about your trouble. If you send me a link to your Steam profile, I'll have a look at your character. Example: "http://steamcommunity.com/id/xxxxxxxxxx/"
Also, please let me know if your character is on a "1st/3rd Person" or a "1st Person" server.
If you prefer to send your Steam ID url in a private message, you can click the "Make Private" button to the left of your message after you click the button labeled "Add Note".
