In some locations it is impossible to drown. The water is too shallow to drown until it gets deep. When it gets deep I don't drown I stand up and start swimming. Maybe there could be a special f11 animation to drown. Also I think there should be a way to kill yourself 100m from any spawn. I remember a time when they were inland spawns you needed to find the nearest town possibly 1000m away to kill yourself. Please don't make it that way if you add inland spawns.
