A friend and I found a few of the new military tents pitched near the NWAF, hidden in the woods. My friend raided the tents and came out with a backpack, some clothing items and some misc. items.

He equipped the backpack, a top, some bottoms, a vest and gave me a new top and a new bottom and a vest (Green Gorka top, Summer Gorka bottom). One misc. item I was given was a single Mosin clip.

We left the area and made a fire, cooked some meat we had stolen and decided to return to the tents to see if we could catch the owners nearby. As we got close, I noticed my friends pants suddenly disappeared from his body. Seconds later, his top did the same. It was at that time that I noticed my vest had also disappeared.

We initially thought maybe the items had retained in the tents, and the owners equipped them, but we were only seconds away and found that no one was around and the items were nowhere to be found.

A little while later, suddenly my pants disappeared as well. That is when I moved my items from my top to my backpack.

We tried dropping items, logging out & back in, searching the general area for the items.

Initial thought was that although he "took" the items, maybe a copy of them stayed in the tent, the players (or other players) went to the tents, equipped the "copy" of the same gear, which removed it from our inventory and put it in theirs. We were less than 50M away when it first started happening and were able to confirm that no one was at that tents, so it appears to be more likely a bug.
