So I was playing on 1st person mode with a 5 days old character, I got a notice that Battleye would restart, and so it did and I lost everything I had.

I still think that the players worst enemy are servers' issues, not zombies or bandits. This wasn't my first time losing things and I bet it happened to everyone, so I think you should try to improve this side of the game further before adding new stuff, bringing more bugs.

I should add that this was full character reset. I started again at the ocean, like a normal respawn.

Thank you for sending us your feedback regarding this issue. Unfortunately, this problem is a known issue that has previously been reported. The devs are aware of the problem related to character save loss and they'll be working on fixing it.
