Constant Character Wiping
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Nearly every time I join a server, my character gets wiped. It's happened with different servers, different times of day, etc... It most usually happens after a server restarts and I rejoin. I have had to restart multiple characters over the last several days due to this glitch and it's getting very irritating. I spent a number of hours playing last night and now I have to start over, yet again.

If I may, my solution has been to drop back one screen (hit cancel) from the server listing screen, then go back into server list screen and select the server you want and that stopped my wipes

Yeah about your solution Dred i use that one too and it usually will do the trick, but not anymore i have lost 2 almost fully geared characters within 3 ours of gameplay. It happened for me always when im connecting to the server that has just restarted and them hanging on "waiting for host" screen. So that drop back one screen trick dosent work.

I've tried that and it always uses the new wiped character. :(

the only prevention is, don't join immediately after restart. wait some minutes.
