I submitted a ticket yesterday(0018762: Private master server not linked with slave server) with regards to my master and slave server not being linked properly. I was informed that the issue has been resolved but it has not. Upon joining either server I am still a different character.

In case the problem persists; have you been in contact with your GSP? When there is a disconnect in the master/slave server setup, it is usually a server misconfiguration that the GSPs should be able to resolve.
