Hi JStewart, and thanks for your answer.

Here is the mail I finally got back from BE:

to me
Hi,

I can't access this video. Please understand that BE has no access to game-specific data on the server and hence it doesn't simply "see" when someone is moving at high speed."

--------------

Man I can't believe this answer... How comes that the entity in charge of the security of DayZ has NO ACCESS to the most basic gameplay fonctionnality given to the players on the server?
How do you expect them to ensure security and integrity, if you don't provide them with those basic tools?
He basically tells me that BattlEye has no vision on the players' movements on a server....

Cheers,
falcuma

Hello falcuma,

The dev team has announced in a previous status report that a tightening of security measures will be in focus for the next update: http://dayz.com/blog/status-report-week-of-15-sept-14. As mentioned in your previous ticket, the devs are aware of the problem related to cheaters/hackers and development of the anticheat measures will continue alongside development of DayZ. In the meantime, I'm afraid that for security reasons we are not able to divulge any information as to the inner workings of these systems and we do humbly ask for your patience while they are being further developed.

Regards,
JStewart
