Session Lost within 5 minutes after joining a server
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I have not been able to play on most servers since 10th October 2014. After spawning I could not interact with

anything in the game and 5 minutes later I would get disconnected, saying "Session Lost". Despite the server is

still up and running. My friends told me the Battleye reported "Client not responding" on the server.
I would not think it's related to my ISP since friends of mine with the same ISP were able to play on any

servers.

I managed to play for 3 hours on experimental branch on the morning of 12 October 2014, but now on either branch I'm having this issue.

I had verified game cache and checked the Windows firewall to make sure DayZ is allowed through it.

Game loads and I successfully spawn. I can walk around in-game but not interacting with any loot/doors. I could

hear people walk around me but never see them, after moments of delay I would see them but they would moonwalk

to an obstacle.

Hello palanoid,

In case that verifying the integrity of the game cache and an upgrade to experimental and subsequent downgrade to stable did not alleviate the problem, then I can check and see if the problem is caused by your account in the character database.

If you send me a link for your Steam profile, then I'll have a look at it.

JStewart

I guess I have solved the issue by deleting the BEClient.dll from my Windows user folder. Having 2 game sessions it has been working fine.

Though sir would you be so kind to have a look into the database and see if everything is okay with my account? Thank you.

Of course :) I checked your account in the database, and all looks good. I'll close your ticket, but in case you encounter any further problems, please feel free to open up a new ticket in the Feedback Tracker.
