whenever I join any server that is connected to the 3pp hive I am given the "unable to load character" message and then stuck of please wait.
I think it has something to do with all the gear I had (4 high cap vests in my backpack)

Thanks for sending in your information. The cause of you not being able to access game servers with your character is due to the sheer amount of items that you've been carrying around. Logging on with an inventory of 3600+ items can result in servers bogging down. Please keep in mind that exploiting game mechanics (even when broken) in order to dupe items is a ban-able offense and that duping to such an extent can affect other players, since servers that you try to log on to can crash.
Your account should be good to go again, but we had to fix it by flushing out the inventory. In case you encounter any further problems, please feel free to open up a new issue in the Feedback Tracker.
