I have reported this issue a week or so ago and it was claimed to be fixed. I spawn as a white male, no gear whatsoever not even clothing, just the white underclothes, by a bridge near a pond. Every single time. No matter what server I join. After the 'fix' I spawned as a male in a town, died, and after trying for some time to once again rejoin a server (I often get stuck on the Please wait..... message) the original problem started all over again.

Unfortunately, this is a due to a bug that the devs are currently working on fixing. I'll link your issue to the main ticket regarding this issue (#13880) and in the meantime, if you send me a note with your Steam Profile ID url, I'll see if I can revive one of your old female characters (with starter gear though).
Also, please let me know if your character is on a Regular/Hardcore server.
