Ever since 0.49 the reduced area of where you can hit a zed is somewhat ridiculous I've had many a time where I've snuck up on a zed and swung a axe at his back only to have to wait for him to see me as the axe "misses" also if the only close range weapons that work on zeds are the axes, picks and new weapons what is the point of the oldies like the baseball bat, farming hoe, etc if these things take 20+ hits to take down a zed no one will use them and might as well just be classed as junk loot
