When crafting a splint it seemed that I passed out. I fell to my right unlike the normal animation. Once on the ground I could spin around with my feet being the pivot point. My screen didn't go black (it was as if I was still just fine) and I was back up within a few seconds. This happened again once I actually applied the splint. I was unable to reproduce but I haven't tried to many times.
