Zombie's posing to small of a threat
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Hi, this is not a bug or anything. It's a change that has to be made to the general gameplay.

There need to be more zombies in the game, so they become a bigger threat. I mean, you should really think before going on a run to find food and other things you might need. One should want to team up with someone to find food because the zombie threat is so big you don't want to face it alone.

And zombies should not just be in cities. They need to be in the forest/fields as well. And there should also be hordes with them, stifling the lands looking for flesh to eat.

I think that if this change will be made, players will not kill on sight as often as they do now. I think there will be more collaboration to fight the real threat = zombies.

I hope you at least read this.
Thanks for a fantastic game that made me meet a lot of interesting people. It really is something special this game.

I upvoted this because I think you are right. BUT... This is still an early Alpha. And actually you didn't (or you shouldn't at least) buy the game, but the early Access of a game. This means that your goal at the moment is not the Playing the game, but to test the game.

I am sure they will add more zeds, and it will becaume way more difficult. But on this stage of the game it would be impossible to test all the details of the game, like looting system, the melee system, the wheater system, or try making fires everywhere, let explose things with granates and so on.

We need this "space" now for being able to test without Millions of zombies.
People who are Killing on Sight now, in my opinion just didn't understand what they should do now, and are trying to play a game that is not finished yet.

I also play this game, don't get me wrong, I like it and we also have some action, but it isn't the main Goal for the moment:)

But I really hope that the Thinks you wrote up will come ingame as soon as the Game becomes close to Final:)

I just want to add that this suggestion I have is from a testing perspective. People that whines about different things in the game and all its bugs .. well lets just say that they haven't fully understood the concept of "Early access alpha". I can assure you that I'm not one of those guys.

With that said, I agree with you that it is to early to try to add more zeds, hell I'm not sure that it will be possible this year. But what I'm saying is that it needs to be done at some point to test the server stability because more zeds equals more server lag / desync since the server needs to keep track of the location of the zombies. And if there's many players and zeds at the same spot it needs to deal with all loot as well.

Therefore I think that the sooner they add more zombies the better (to test what happens with the performance). Because I think that this is going to be a big problem for the developers in the future just because of desync and all that. And of course to make it a more believable game/experience since there should be way more zombies as of the amount of cities and houses in Chernarus. I mean, technically, how many people should have lived in Chernarus? 50000 maybe?

As I said earlier, Wonderful game! And whats even more wonderful is that I as a consumer can participate in the early access alpha.

[This is not a complaint, it's a suggestion]
