Description

I have a USB headset+mic. Since the new patch (0.48) I have all sound up until I use my mic in direct chat. At that point I lose ALL sound in the game. If I alt-tab out the headset plays all sound as normal, just not in Dayz. I have no sound until I restart the game.

If I use the mic again, BANG, no sound.

Start game
Talk in direct chat
No sound.

Additional Information

Seem to somewhat have fixed it by re-running Directx - however, sound is patchy in that the volume of the ambient noise varies in volume randomly.
