The way of processing and responding to errors by JStewart

Description

Hello all admins, mods and executive Director how could read this,

first of all i would tell you the point we are:
WE, the community, PAY for a game. So we PAY for your content.
WE, the community, say "we life with bugs and glitches". Also its a alpha, we TEST it for YOU. You do not have to hire tester from your monay or your monay, we will do it for you to bring a perfect game on the market hand in hand. Other companys like microsoft have tester.
WE, the community, are humans. We would also like those we are patronized not from above.
We spend OUR FREE TIME to test this game. We could go also working and get monay instead of testing the game. But we test it because we think it could be one of the best games ever.

But if we are not allowed to post the bugs on our why, would you, JStewart, test the game by yourself alone?

I find it very hypocritical, if no one give a respons on the most issues and then JStewart delete the comment in the main-issue and says i have to go in the forum by posting the most importent bug. And says to me in my thread i have to post the bug in the main-issue.

Give us feedback fast, show us you are interessting in our bug-reports if we make a part of your work (code testing) and do not delete post if they have no bad language like "fuck xzy, you are...".

Alpha-Version testing is not a part of consumer if they have to pay for it. Normally, this should make the company previously (like microsoft, apple...).

And saving and loading is fundermantal. Not a little bug what is done after the publication. Think how many hours of your free time is lost this way.

Sorry but the way JStewart edit my post is not correct in my eyes.

If you have an issue with JStewart, message him. This is a tracker for feedback about the game, NOT about the staff.

Hello again nerobp,

"first of all i would tell you the point we are:

Of course we highly value the input from the players that test DayZ during the development process. However, when you choose to deliberately submit duplicate reports, they will be handled like duplicate reports; they will be closed (standard QA practice).

"But if we are not allowed to post the bugs on our why, would you, JStewart, test the game by yourself alone?":

No one is stating that you are not allowed to submit bugs. That's what the feedback tracker is there for. However, when you deliberately choose to submit duplicate reports, they will be handled like duplicate reports as mentioned above. Additionally, no one said that I will be testing the game alone either. BI has a QA department.

"I find it very hypocritical, if no one give a respons on the most issues and then JStewart delete the comment in the main-issue and says i have to go in the forum by posting the most importent bug. And says to me in my thread i have to post the bug in the main-issue."

Absolutely incorrect. I wrote that the feedback tracker is not a forum. The notes section is for adding additional information that can be useful for the team. The notes section is in no way there for players to vent their frustration with foul language. You chose to use foul language and I deleted the message as well as let you know that for discussions and such, please use the forums.

"Give us feedback fast, show us you are interessting in our bug-reports if we make a part of your work (code testing) and do not delete post if they have no bad language like "fuck xzy, you are..."."

As mentioned before, we highly appreciate the hours that players put into testing DayZ during development. Your input is invaluable and the devs acknowledge that. Please rest assured that all team members are working as hard as they can in order to develop the game as well as fixing bugs submitted via the feedback tracker. Additionally, I deleted your note since it contained nothing but negative comments regarding the devs, foul language and absolutely nothing constructive that would facilitate the fixing of the bug. Unfortunately, the use of foul language is a trend I can see happening in your responses to other feedback tracker users even in some of your own bug reports. Please regard this as a warning against the use of foul language and verbal abuse of other users as well as the devs.

"Alpha-Version testing is not a part of consumer if they have to pay for it. Normally, this should make the company previously (like microsoft, apple...).

In no way do I quote this in disrespect, but the following disclaimer is posted on the Steam store, available for your review before you choose to purchase your copy of DayZ SA:
Warning: This game is early access alpha. Please do not purchase it unless you want to actively support development of the game and are prepared to handle with serious issues and possible interruptions of game functioning. (http://store.steampowered.com/app/221100/)

And I completely agree; the save/load function is extremely important. However, the game is not fully developed, and issue #78 is being addressed by the team (as mentioned before).

Regards,

JStewart
