After updating experimental I booted up the game and had no sound. Nothing at all. The game works fine, I can joins servers and all that, except for sound. I have tried literally everything I could to fix this but have had nothing work. I tried :
Verifying Game Cache
Switching back to Stable
Completely Uninstalling
Reinstalling my sound drivers
No idea.
I am using a K53E Asus laptop.
I have seen another thread about this issue back in December but I don't know how to reinstall DirectX. This is the link to that thread.

This is also happening with me. I have a USB headphone and mic. I have sound all the way up until I try and use direct chat - then I lose all sound until I restart.
