When someone shoot, sometimes you don't hear it at all (even if the guy is right next to you and shooting a whole magazine of 30 rounds.) or other time, you hear the sound from a different direction than the shoot is actually comming from.

My friends got shot right next to me, and I didn't even know he got shot until I get shot too.
