When a zombie hits my toon, it looses the ability to attack and LMB stays unresponsive, this happens with meele weapons and guns (rifles at least, I haven't had the chance to try with pistols). Changing binds doesn't make any effect, whatever key I use, it doesn't work. It has happened in 3 different sessions and at 2 servers (UK 1 and 2)and only gets fixed upon relog.
