Can't attack using any melee weapon

Description

Every now and then I cannot use an equipped melee weapon. I think it has something to do with spamming the attack button and something gets stuck.

Steps To Reproduce

Get melee weapon.
Spam attack/space bar
Sometimes you'll get stuck unable to attack until you log out and in again.

darthbaker set Category to category:weapons.

darthbaker set Reproducibility to Random.

darthbaker set Severity to None.

darthbaker set Resolution to Duplicate.

Yeah, this is in experimental. I tried switching between fists/baseball bat and splitting axe nothing seems to fix it except a reconnect.

This affects me in 0.47 STABLE and does not only ruin melee weapons but also makes it impossible to fire the pistol. Game is unplayable now.
