I logged in and had to log right out to fix my mic. When I logged back in I saw a red message saying my character couldn't be loaded with some other text I didn't have time to read and sure enough, I was a fresh spawn. I didn't get killed or anything. I tried logging out a couple of times to no avail as this happens often but usually correct.
It was on a regular server.

I just want to know if the character is lost or if there is hope of a restore. I might just wait until .47 releases to play again because this is the third character in a week that I've lost after hours of play. I don't mind bugs and stuff but I hate just wasting hours over and over. That sucks because I love this game.

This happens from time to time for me as well, but it's never a permanent issue though. If I just give it a minute or two before relogging on another server, my inventory will be intact. In case you encounter any further problems, please feel free to open up a new issue in the Feedback Tracker.
