Special items should take special slots instead of entire slots in backpacks, vests etc. Such as:
- epipens & morphine injectors (the size of a pen for an entire slot??)
- maps (maps are usually quite flat and hardly take any space at all)
- batteries (tiny, not worth wasting an entire slot for it)
- pens (shirt/vest chest pockets, above the ear, straps etc)
- knives (stucked in boots)
these items could easily find a special spot to put them in, i.e. pen in chest pockets of shirts or hooked on straps of backpacks or vests. epipens & morphine injectors usually go in quick access pockets of backpacks and vests. maps are usually put in special pockets of those as well. a battery can go in the zippo-pocket of jeans or cargo pockets.
We do need some special pockets so these special items are also not easily ruined when the backpack is shot. I'd like to be able to use a morphine injector after carrying it around all the time after all, especially when I've been shot at (in the legs).
