Yesterday I've scavenged a lot of arrows (19) and I've made a bow, ready to hunt cows! It take me 14 arrows to kill one before I understand the bow actually fires 45° to the left when I was standing. In crouch position, no problem otherwise. Did you have the same bug?
I was unable to take down the cow even at 5 meters until I crouch (horizontal bow mode).
I was perfectly rested.
