Right now if you attack a base, the defenders who currently hold the base can respawn right in the middle of it. This can be quite problematic as someone can be camping the respawn point, and on the contrary the attackers can be overwhelmed by defenders who are awarded spawn protection for a short while after spawn.
My suggestion is to have any defenders spawning on a currently attacked base appear further away in a forest, just like when you teleport with the new feature in experimental. You can think of them as reinforcements just arriving to defend. Doing it this way both retains immersion as you don't have people appearing out of nowhere in the base, and the respawn protection will have already worn off by the time they are in the base.
**Alternatively:** As suggested in the comments, respawns on a heavily attacked base could be disabled altogether, this may even be a better idea.
