1. Find a barrel 2. Take it to hands 3. Left click to enter item placement mode 4. Press 'G' to drop the barrel 5. Observe the item placement mode is still active even though your hands are empty

Press 'Tab' to open your inventory and then drag the tent out of your hands and move it into your backpack 5. Observe the item placement mode is still active even though your hands are empty
