I checked again. The issue is a bit more complex: When you sit on the outside "bench" of the mh-9 you can spot a bit of the collision lights. but you don't see any "glow". also, though the lights are screened to the inside, i think they should be barely seen from pilot's seat. hard to explain. better see for yourself.
