What I'd hoped for actually, is that the arrows, once found back, can be reused. That would make sense, since they are quite rare and you can only store few at once (5 per slot max). It would greatly raise its valour in the game.
That last thing is a desire and/or suggestion, but I think it would at least be appropriate to see the impact of your arrow. I also liked seeing zombies with arrows through the head, as a proper result of good aiming :)
