There is two issues wich occur when using UAV drone camera:
1.Camera shaking on high zoom levels
2.Camera aiming controls oversensetive (inaccurate)
1.is ticket remain open for several versions of a game, Camera shakingit is certainly bugged.//issue//, It occurs in Kajman attack helicopter (when it in autohover mode) as well. Camera flickers up and down with very high frequency without reason at all. (see video)
2.not feature request.
* Issue only appears in multiplayer
* It is somehow tied with UAV AI and its behaviour on loiter (my guess it is correcting itself every second leading to the shaky camera)
Camera flickers up and down, The mouse is incredibly hard to control and is very sensitive to the point of were One can't put the cross hairs on desired positionleft and right with very high frequency. If you move it a fraction in any direction, the camera moves wildly away from were it was aimed at.Shake frequency increases with lower server and client fps
It is extremly hard to aim on high zoom levels and turns UAV oprator life into "catch the lock on vehicle" game, It makes aiming on ground vehicles extremely frustrating.
The most interesting thingwhere the only option for operator is to spam "lock uav camera" key in hope to aquire lock.
However, that in the same conditions, onsimilar visor was recently added to the sgame server and player count (only me),with 1.60 update. this issue is not presented in F18 F/A Super Hornet mod (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22594) The co-pilot seat have the same visor as the default UAV (it might be different from the coding side)
I have captured some footage comparing two flyovers over the airfield and trying to hold cross hair on target and moving it around targetIt is Wipeout targeting pod. You can seeBasicly serves same function, that I can aim perfectly wellbut works way way smoother. My sighit is dead stable and there is no close-up camera shaking at all when using F18
