Those auto target brackets that detect a hidden target are really lame and unrealistic. I have no problem with the rangefinding or thermal modes on the Nightstalker, because it is large and obstructs your FOV. Not the most practical scope, but the brackets telling you where targets are at needs to go.
It has a red dot on it and Day, NV, and TI modes. That's what sets it apart from TWS and any other scope. The auto target detection is absurd. You're also wrong that "smart" optics exist IRL that will pick up a target that's hidden behind cover. Rangefinding, yes. Psychic abilities, no.
