I have an excessive amount of static fuzz in game. It is not the normal amount of anti-gamma static. See attached pictures to see difference. This is bit long winded,It is all the time. Light sources make it more apparent. Say Im a fresh spawn on coast and its night. The night sky is not black, it is entirely technicolor static fuzz. And the fuzz is always moving like on an old television. but here we goVERY distracting to the eyes.
In game settings, Steam settings, launch parameters, DayZ.cfg file, user_settings.DayZProfile file, NVidia settings, Windows settings, monitor settings, keyboard shortcuts, deleting DayZ folder, verifying files. Nothing fixes it for me. But please throw any knowledge, tips, fixes, or any other ideas out there. I am not afraid to try fixes again, even after multiple tries already.
I have found others with my problem, who I can tell are having the exact same issue I am. But little documentation, especially visual, is out there. So I will try to be as thorough as I can be. Phone pics included because NVidia screen cap and Steam screenshots(F12) do not capture what I actually see. And do not show how debilitating this static fuzz can be. I will also send in a support ticket to the feedback tracker.
However, I can get rid of the static fuzz if I change it to windowed mode. But in window mode I get crippling mouse lag/input lag. The game runs best in fullscreen, smoother, more fps, and no mouse/input lag. So I am trying to fix the static fuzz instead of the mouse lag. The mouse lag is only there in DayZ in windowed mode, not in fullscreen or any other program. I have tried multiple times to focus on fixing mouse lag in windowed mode as well too, but failed.
