It's generally related to routers. Most games work fine. Some like Arma 3 or notably Valve games or any Source engine game has this problem.
The difference between Arma III and these source games is that they give you options to not trigger a flooded router.
I would buy a new router, but just about any router I've researched either also has the problem, or there is no mention, so I don't know. Many people with many routers have this problem, and there are ways YOU can give us a chance to play the game.
You MUST add a button that STOPS the search for servers. Also when we use the filter to select various options of what games we want to see, it seems you are still flooding the router and then just showing us what we want to see AFTER you search through all the routers.
So if you could add a stop search button (and of course not remove what has been found up to that point), we could then connect to that server.
If when searching, you do the search on your end and send the appropriate IP addresses/other stuff that make up the server list we request via our filter, then we could allow the search to find more servers before we need to hit 'stop search' to prevent the flooding of the router.
It may not fix the problem, but it WILL allow us who are suffering to be able to play. It's a dirty workaround, but it'll work.
So please at least at a 'stop search' button on server search page, there's room for it next to the 'cancel' button.
Basically the pings used to search for server it seems is crashing many routers.
Please, Please add a STOP SEARCH button, and allow what has been found to stay there displayed for us to join.
Thank You.
