**Issues With Game options HUD/QB Settings**
I logged a separate issue for this problem but wanted to note it here since this option is a partial workaround.Related Bug?** The game's behavior has changed when disabling the HUD and Quickbar (QB) in the options menu. Previously,when these were disabled in the options menu, using the relevant key binding would temporarily show the associated UI elements (i.e. HUD/QB) and then autohide them. disabling either the HUD/QBThis change in the game options still allowed the player to bring up those UI elements up.behavior may have been planned, They would then auto-hide after a few seconds (like the autohiding task bar in Windows)but I've not seen anything in the patch notes. This was much preferred UX to what they do now where the tilde key does nothing.I logged this as a separate bug as, That makes it impossible to bring up those status indicators without going back into the game options and enabling them directly.even if planned, While a player may be disabling those for immersion, they're still the only way to check on vitals like hunger,the old functionality was more desirable [[ https://feedback.bistudio.com/T170698| T170698]]
**[EDIT]** I initially mis-logged a portion of this bug to **include** a problem that was showing up as a result of a few distinct mods. temperatureDistinct mods, etcbecause the servers that displayed that particular issue were not all using the same mods but presented the same display issue which led me to assume a connection to vanilla/official DayZ. In shortEgg on my face for assuming, the pervious functionality was much preferred as it gave a quick way to check on those vital stats.
and I addressed that with Geez down below in the comments. I've corrected the bug write-up as a result to reflect the portion that is in vanilla DayZ.
