Have one item in the tent and the other on you, drag that item onto the other and "switch" them out (indicated by blue highlight) and one item will disappear into the tent. In the picture of the tent above the inventory slots drag it onto the ground and it will move and if their is a tent nearby i could warp into it and both become unusable.
