{F537146}My problem lies with when you build the roofs and stairs on a watchtower, and how the model physically shows the work you have made on it. Currently when you build roofs for floors on a watchtower you get a roof that has a cut-out / notch for the staircase so your head doesn't hit it on the way up. What if you DO NOT want a staircase and you just want a completely enclosed flat roof with NO hole on the roof instead?????????? currently there is nothing you can do about it. REMOVE the staircase cut-out off the initial building of the roof before you have added stairs...... then when you choose to build the staircase make the cut-out show up at the same time as the staircase. Having a flat roof becomes essentially important when building intricate structures. You can build tons of watchtowers next together and it looks fine but once you start building up what happens is the roofs will become your floors and they all have wholes in them because they are all "waiting" for a staircase. See my reddit post below for references on what im talking about. https://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/9zj438/so_i_made_a_base_for_the_first_time_here_are_my/ My suggestion for a fix would make it so when you build the roof initially it is completely covered end to end with NO cut-out or notch for the stairs...... If you choose to build the stairs, then the cut out should appear at the same time as the stairs NOT before you build them. PLEASE fix this, i beg of you! I spent five hours building the base you see on my reddit post that i linked and the only real problem i saw with base building was these dang stair case holes. This is the only real problem i see with the current building system!
