Hello,
I am not able to play the game because it freezes, stop freezing and is freezing again always.
I assume that it has something to do with the SSD (Samsung SSD 840 Pro) I have installed Arma3 on. When I use a dedicated which Driver (Microsoft AHCI Driver) I get decent Bandwidth rates, which help Arma or should help Arma to run more smoothly, but I assume the game has some problems with the high bandwidth. When I install a dedicated Marvel Driver for the SATA-Controller I get worse Bandwidth/read/write-rates but the game is working.... but I don't have so much FPS as i have when i use the Microsoft driver....
It's even very difficult to start the game, because in the main menu there is already the island loaded in the background. To be even able to start the game i have to use the parameter "world=empty"....
My Mainboard is a Gigabyte 790FXTA-UD5 which has a dedicated SATA-6-Gbit-Controller (Marvel 9128). The problem appears in Arma 2 OA and Arma 3 Alpha. As I am not able to play that way I currently think about sending back the SSD..... because i just bought it half a week ago....
Could you please find out why exactly Arma is persistenly freezing/unfreezing/freezing/unfreezing....?
