Another LOD issue has been encountered with 970's (I haven't had this exact problem) and it was solved by changing driver versions: https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/193209-tanoa-models-or-textures-are-poppingflickering/ I have done clean uninstall and reinstalls on both SSD and HDD and neither have solved the problem.
