Go to stony area and "Search for stones".
Once you have found one, it appears in the inventory (free slot exists).
You drag the stone into your hands.
You look on the ground and choose "Craft Stone Knife" with your mouse wheel.
You press "F" to craft it
*bup* Stone disappears, stone knife doesn´t appear. Not in inventory, nor in your hands.
