When the HUD is disabled using either the default key binding (default is long -press ` - tilde keye) or via the game options menu, the UI still shows a vehicle controls HUD when inside a vehicle.
In both cases (i.e. menu and key disabled), when the player exits a vehicle, a partial HUD comprised of the stamina and noise indicators is displayed. the vehicle'sThis partial HUD continuesis easy to display in the UImiss and reapplies each time.
This breaks immersion for players who are filming cinematics or players and/or streamers who want a clean HUD.
**Additionally, there is a related issue if the HUD was disabled via the in the game options menu (rather than the key binding).
**Resolving Partial Hud:**
- **If the partial HUD is displayed as a result of the HUD being disabled via the key binding**, ** In this case, when the player exits a vehicle, a partial HUD comprised of the stamina and noise indicators is displayed.it can be cleared away by pressing the key twice (long-press tilde) or even toggling the game settings (Esc).
- **If the partial HUD is displayed as a result of the HUD being disabled via the options menu**, This partial HUD cannotit cannot be as easily be removed (the key binding has no effect)ed. The only way to remove it in this case, is to force the game to "refresh" its options. This can be done by **making and applying a change in the options menu** The change does not have to be related to the HUD. Any change to the audio/video/control/option setting will do as long as the UI enables the "Apply" button. Once Apply is pressed, the UI refreshes properly and the partial HUD goes away.
It will likely be helpful to watch my linked unlisted YT video. **I made it while getting over the flu so please excuse the sniffles and raspy voice...**
