When starting the game, from the official launcher or standalone launcher, the game hangs on a black screen. Eventually Windows will warn the application has stopped responding. Closing opens a dialog with the error: STATUS_APPLICATION_HANG. Looking at the task manager prior to closing shows DayZ using about 20-24 GB of memory, pushing my system to 97% used.
I have tried the following:
- Reinstalled Graphics Driver
- Reinstalled Game
- Removed mods
- Started without mods
- Run as Admin
