A new sort of ghost bullets and/or player desync has appeared in the game. We've first noticed this couple weeks ago before patch 1.24. However seeing as 1.24 around the corner we didn't report it yet hoping it might gets fixed. However it's unfortunately still not fixed.
Basically what we discovered is that reloading your weapon in very rare cases leads to some sort of desync that makes it impossible for you to register any hits with bullets. It's not just bound to the weapon you reloaded, but also to any other weapon. We've tested that and the issue is bound to the player and not the weapons. In one case I gave a desynced player my weapon and he couldnt hit me with it while i could hit him with the very same weapon (check clip below). Oddly you can still normally play and even hit AI/players with melee attacks. You have to relog to fix this issue. Furthermore when you leave the server there is no log out timer indicating some sort of desync.
