Locklear claimed T124901: ASP-1 Kir 12.7 shoots high with level 2 scopes.

I found some inconsistencies in settings of sights zeroing. It isn't very apparent with many weapons, but it's quite pronounced in case of Kir due to characteristics of its ammunition.

Hello there. This should works fine.
Did you observe it during only one round or whole match? Because for example team kills counts for one round and be resetted at the beginning of next round.

In the video that I linked above you can see multiple actions, such as @7:50 where I disturb the enemy note, but receive no Xp for it, same in clash, capturing gets you no xp. Only kills give you 1xp each.

Hello. Thanks for your feedback. This thing really happens but I can´t found 100% reprosteps. May I ask you did you receive +1 score point for only killing or every action which gave you points? Or only kills counts?

You were right, most weapons zeroing was changed, also the ASP-1 with level 2 scopes is zeroed in 200m, unlike most other weapons

  1. Zeroing was set to 100m.  It's for the sake of making the game more user friendly. Since the scenarios are taking place on rather small areas the zeroing should be sufficient. Manual zeroing felt like too much of a complex mechanic.

Well ASP-1, due to the giant silencer, has a heavy bullet exiting at a slow muzzle velocity --> massive bullet drop on range.
Arma 3 Scopes are zeroed on 300 or 200m, on that distance the bullet drop is already massive, that's the reason why you shoot to high on closer ranges.

Hello. Thanks for your feedback. It sounds interesting but for now we are not thinking about bringing these things to game. We are so far in development phase that we are without time and capacities to do these kind of changes.

@Vietwitch I know for 100% that it occurs on link under the following conditions:

  1. Your Team has No tickets left,
  2. You and some other ppl are dead and are waiting for a ticket.
  3. One of your guys gets a kill, thus giving your team a ticket.
  4. More than one guy are respawning on the same "ticket"
  5. Result you spawn in a random spawn point / enemy base / some node....
  6. Result you spawn with the default gun.

It happened to me on the server several times, even after disconnecting to level up and then reconnecting. I can't be sure if it was every time, per se, nor can I remember if it happened on multiple servers.

Hello Vyhdra. Could you provide us any additional information about it? Did you observe any unusual thing round before? From attached video I saw that it respawned you with different weapon. Is that weapon one of your preselected loadout or it´s something totally different? For now it looks like random but, of course, it´s not how we intended.
For example, if you will observe it again, please send me your RPT (dump and minidump if there are) file from: <Drive>:\Users\Your_name\AppData\Local\Argo and we try to figured out.
