I have the same problem of not being able to change pace at times. It seems to get stuck sometimes after raising/lowering/switching a weapon, but I'm not positive.

Im not sure if they plan to expand the hunger/thirst system to include warmth, rest, etc. but I wouldn't mind seeing a debuff system worked into the existing framework. Instead of just dying of starvation in under an hour, maybe it could be drawn out over time, but with detrimental effects to player stats, speed, weapon sway, whatever.

This has happend to me with several items of various types/colors of clothing picked up from several different locations. Taking the clothing on and off quickly corrects it.
