Agreed wholeheartedly. I can see making the characters need water and food a bit faster than a real human would (it is a game after all) but right now it's simply too fast. You become thirsty again seconds after drinking, and the need to continuously eat and drink is so severe that it has prevented me from exploring or doing anything other than going from one town to the next searching for food, which isn't particularly realistic OR particularly fun.
Who said it was a bug? This site is for FEEDBACK, not just bug reports. That's why it's called FEEDBACK.dayzgame.com, and the reports we add are called "issues", not "bugs".
This is true for me as well. The real-life time of day doesn't matter, nor does the server. I have tried probably 15 different US servers (it's noonish in the US right now) and all of them are night time. I also tried playing last night, and they were all nighttime then, too. It's not fun only ever playing at night (and to be honest the game looks pretty bad in low light).
Yup, me too. If we're going to have a real-life, 24 hour game clock, then characters shouldn't need to eat and drink every ten minutes.
I've had a similar issue that may be worth mentioning here; while the zombies have responded to me, there seem to be very few of them. In 2+ hours playing the game I think I saw four zombies, total, despite visiting several towns and one city area. Food/item spawns seem to be very few and far between as well.
