You say it’s a glitch, I always raid tents and bases and barrels when I find them, usually at night, i’ll stake out the area and wait with nvgs then hit them hard and take everything I can. It doesn’t mean it’s a bug, someone could well have stolen them... it’s a persistent world, meaning when you log off things remain in the world for others to see and take.
