NicolaiML added a comment to T60740: Make this game livestreamer-friendly.

This is true, i have followed Sacriel for almost a year and this has never been worse for streamers. IN the old days they could simply block a few places and most people didn't even care to streamsnipe, but it seems that the level of excitement the immature kids and obvious social awkward individuals get from streamsniping, by far surpasses the common sense and feelings for other human beings and the effort they put into this sort of entertaining.
Streaming and making youtube videos is sometimes the ONLY income for the streamers and youtubers, and it is not fair that the streamers have to buy 6000$ PC's in order to stream (with overlays, which is still not enough) and record locally to put out youtube videos without the overlays covering 30% of their screen.
Bohemia has grown a tremendous amount because of youtubers and streamers, i personally bought ARMA II CO because i saw one of sacriels first DayZ videos, and i am FAR from the only case.
To give this VERY small change to the game you get, besides what you have already gotten for free, the following:
Better streams = more viewers = more potential customers for Bohemia Interactive = more money in your pocket = more great games etc.
Streamers get to show the real graphical jizzyness in your games (ARMA III mainly)
I could go on and on about this but bottom line is: You get FREE advertisement and increase your income by making a few changes that won't have any effect on normal players experience, but will GREATLY increase the experience for the streamers, and honestly, these changes can be made in a VERY tiny patch even in the alpha.
I hope you will take this into consideration, because I, as many other more than enjoy sacriel, and other streamers work, and i would hate to see them spending on second less playing and streaming your games because they can't make enough money to support themselves, because they can't stream to the full potential because Bohemia Interactive is not willing to make a small patch that means the difference between barely survivng from streaming and youtubing, and being able to give back to the viewers in form of gaming gear (headset, keyboard, mouse) and digital copies of games.
You lose nothing, but gain thousands of buyers.
