Just tried Experimental branch and the same lockups appear also.

Also running on AMD only setup, I'm running with the Following Specs:
AMD A8-3870 Black Edition APU @3.0Ghz Quad
Sapphire HD 7950 OC edition 3GB
16GB Corsair Low Profile memory @1600mhz
Windows 7 Ultimate X64
Getting roughly 40FPS in most areas but when I hit small towns / villages with AI I drop to a mere 12FPS in a co-op campaign.
A3 Alpha auto-detects my GPU to be "high-very high" but usually I have to massively lower each setting to keep framerates stable.
I'm only seeing about 30% utilization on my CPU which is 3Ghz Quad core.
