Then no clue mate. I have an issue like the one you discribe but only in first person and with headphones, nothing about 5.1 and third person.
Anyways and if help, in my case I restart the computer and the issue dissapear. It was cause when I change to desktop speakers to headphones.

I am currently in Abu Dhabi and my brother in Spain. Before the last patch I can host a game and he can see me but after the patch not anymore. I try everithing I could with no luck. No addons or mods neither.
I tottally agree that in the patch something has changed relevant to server browsing.
I also switch between Gamespy and Steam and nothing happens.

Just notice guys that we are in 2013 and the game is featured somehow 2035 and in terms of aircraft desing and innovations the aircraft manufactures are actually working on it.
Im still working like aircraft engineer in helicopters developed on early sixties and the variants are still used today with improved desing and avionics.

EDIT: With that I mean that we are not going to expect so innovative changes in fuselage design more than those made by composite materials and the way the wars are right now dont deserve to spend more money in those proyects, maybe more in all kind of electronic and armour protection for ground forces.

There is a huge cargo plane at least to be deliver in the campaing/patch episodes that is like the C130 but with other name. You can find the wreck actually in the game right know under the wreck category.
Anyways you can spect the Osprey also.

Hi dude, it happens to me the other day also.
Restart the computer and it will go ok. I find out that the problem is when I switch to desktop speakers for other games and then come back to the headset to play arma. Something in the Logitech control panel or the game made that.
Also happens to me in Skyrim.

In my case was with helos but im sure is the same with planes.

This issue is involved with the shop, nothing to do with Bohemia. Looks like the guys in the shop shell a product that later they dont get it.
Anyways, I think that the issue can be closed.

At 60kph translacional flight aerodynamics generated by horizontal and vertical stabilizers superseed the tail rotor controls. Depending of aircraft desing this could be achieved early or later. Some helicopters have devices that limit the amount of left pedal use at high speeds to prevent damage to the aircraft and crew.
I think that this ingame limitation is more or less accurate.
And like crawl55 said you have tail rotor authority in all the flight situations.

Devul before also was ok for me. Looks that after the patch today I have microstops when turn my head using trackir but not sure if is problem of trackier software, v synk or other.

Verified local files cache o whatever is it and runs ok for me, about 40 fps and spend the whole fuel tank of the AH9 in only 1/4 of the map :-)

I see the pics and thats I was talking about. I asume that are conficgs not yet implemented using others that are already implemented, thats because you see the same vest but you move throught different names.
If you download the gear selection menu i previous beta stages you will see that you have more missing load vests and carriers that the one you have now.
Thats why asume that in the final game it will be implemented.

L.O.G.A.N. I was using the Dslyecxi gear customization menu and lot of the rigs and vest included the one you tell have the same issue, only changing the names.
The new configs will be applied when the game is released and remember that some content will come later with the Episodical campaing DLC, which will include vehicles and more features not completed for the official release date.
If not...we will complain.

I noticed in the Dev build too, but when I changed to Beta build they die ok.
I the Dev they died like in arma2 fixed poses. I dont know if is that what you mean. The pic you show is a glitch that happens sometimes.

I agree with that. Before on early alpha you crash and sometimes you can survive the crash but I think was more a bug than a feature :-(

If I not wrong I see that issue in arma 2 with some static weapons like that. I think the mortar but Im not sure. I was referring that this issue is related to the engine or the way the config is stablished. If they can solve/change this Ill be also happy but I dont think they will do that due to there are lot of things to improve.

3dr person view should stay forever. That's one of the main reasons people love arma. This doesn't means that in some cases is useless, like this one.
Like redstone says the crosshair is aligned with the tube and is nothing we can do. Is not a bug is the way the game is.
Don't use 3rd person view in this cases mate.

I have the same issue with the logitec g930, sound going on and off but not totally, is like a fading issue. Tested with my desktop speakers and they work properly.
Last beta update still doesnt fix it.

When I was working in sea rescue(back on the 90's) the mates of SASEMAR get one rescue boat that makes 50 knots that is more or less about 90 km/h and that was the top speed. More than that you cannot resist in the boat(the back hurts of passengers & crew)
Right now the Armed speedboats are getting around 65 km/h. I think they can increase a little the max speed of the boats.
