That is weird. Your RPT contains data AFTER you crashed? How does the game keep running and logging to RPT after it crashed?

https://feedback.bistudio.com/T127019 appears to have same dll.
There are sadly no useable crashdumps in your report. Could you please try launching 32Bit Arma?
Appeared in https://github.com/Wyqer/kp_liberation/issues/243
Might very well be in some way related to the Liberation mission. It mosly happened to me on there.
Considering the sound bug is a huge flood of unit radio sounds... It might be connected to some sort of AI caching or spawning/despawning.
Please try without -malloc=system -hugePages
The last time you ran successfully according to your logs you were using -malloc=jemalloc_bi and no -hugePages.
Then you switched to x64 and -malloc=system -hugePages and ever since your game has been crashing...

Should be fixed on dev branch: https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/140837-development-branch-changelog/?page=47&tab=comments#comment-3246394
Just took about 1.5 years.
Could be that your dinput8.dll is infected by a virus.
You can try https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system
Or running a Antivirus check.
Could also be that Battleye is just randomly blocking files. It does that from time to time. In that case it should work of you try again on the next day.
Try reinstalling your Graphics Card Drivers. Your RHS is throwing a lot of Errors you should talk with the RHS developers about that.
Could be caused by the Server you are playing on. Freezing you on purpose because you were behaving badly.
Quite a lot of Servers do that.
Also your "Steps to reproduce" are not correct. According to your logs you are trying to start a mission which then crashes.
That is not the same as "Start the game, let it load, it crashes"
It might very well be caused by the Mission or the Server you are playing it on if it is a remote Server.
If it's caused by the Mission then the Devs most likely will need that Mission file.

Crash in C:\Program Files (x86)\Trust GXT\555\EZFRD64.dll Which seems to be your joystick.
ErrorMessage: DX11 error : buffer Map failed : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
According to your logs this is not the same as https://feedback.bistudio.com/T83850
Oct 27 2017
Can confirm.
Did you try something like SHIFT+Backspace? Same works in Zeus to hide Zeus icon. Maybe it also works here.
It fails right after InitSound - complete I have seen that quite often here. Don't know anything specific about that though.
Go to My Documents\Arma 3 and make sure no file in there is write protected.
Maybe try launching Arma as Administrator.

A BIG red exclamation mark at D3DX. You could have found that by yourself.
Your DirectX 10/11 is bad.
Your Report Log is useless.
If you use -noLogs and you send us your logs... That won't be useful as they will be empty. Also it doesn't contain any crashdumps.
Please crash it again without "-noLogs -mod= -beservice" and create a new report.

I fixed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMLc5hHC0tQ
Have a BI dev contact me and I'll walk him through the necessary changes. It's really very easy. It is not as performance friendly as I'd like (Only work is being done once at game start. no runtime difference)
but that's because of the decision to put the groups into the magazines array which wasn't mine.
Just tested it. magazineGroup is working just fine in the backend.

@Matosh Complete Arsenal rewrite.
DayZ != Arma 3. No it won't be added to Arma 3.
It reads the servername and password from it so.... I'm quite confident it reads the config instead of my mind.
Oct 19 2017
I am using -config=serverconfig/server.cfg so it's in a subfolder. No problem here. Can you try if a subfolder works?
Oct 18 2017
I didn't see anyone mentioning this yet.. A3_Characters_F is listed properly inside CfgPatches. It is there. But it is still shown that it's missing.
So the issue is not a missing or corrupt file.
Please provide the crash report: https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/
I don't see any Game crashes in here. It's the Launcher that crashes.
Oct 16 2017
Crashed somewhere inside graphics component. Only the devs can tell you more specifics.
Did you try completly redownloading CUP yet? There was also a CUP update recently. Good time to redownload everything now. Might be a corrupted model or texture.
If it happens to Car mirrors too it's not caused by ACE.
Don't see this being an ACE problem but screenshots would still be awesome.
Oct 10 2017
That report is mostly useless.
The RPT is missing for the only crash report in there. And for the other RPT's there are no crash reports.
Can you create a new one? Please create the Report after your game crashed. And not after you successfully started your game twice.
Crashes in WIndows Kernel? I'd say Windows is the bad............
Really? You didn't think it was important that your game always says "Include file <filepath> not found." Before it crashes?
ErrorMessage: Include file z\ace\addons\main\script_mod.hpp not found.
ace_main.pbo is missing.. but you are loading other mods that require ACE.
Please disable -noLogs before crashing your game and creating the report.
The devs don't have useful logs if you disable them.

This can be closed.
Could you please just try doing what we told you?
Unplug the gamepad. Start the game again. If it doesn't work upload a new CrashReport.
Detected Joystick: USB Game Pad
Doesn't matter if you use it. There is a gamepad plugged in. And something seems to be wrong with it.
Also often encountered this. Just want to change the UAV's height. But can't without also giving it a move waypoint.

Dunno why @Wulf closed it already.

So you damaged your helicopter by sliding on the ground at 28km/h... But that didn't happen a few days ago... There hasn't been an Arma update changing that for weeks...

Why is this issue still open? Priority urgent, Severity major. For an issue that is only shown via unavailable youtube videos and that couldn't be reproduced by anyone shortly after it was created.
Is this issue still valid? It is 2 years old. I don't see why this is still major priority.
He is trying to say that it's working again now.

https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/140837-development-branch-changelog/?do=findComment&comment=3235530 should have fixed this. Can you confirm @Sam_Fisher ?
Need to test if https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/140837-development-branch-changelog/?do=findComment&comment=3236833 fixed this.
@kawaiixjinx How about you click the links in that dialog and let it tell you exactly what you need to do?
Oct 5 2017
I can.. But I don't really see the needed info.
Is you game crashing? Do you have crashdumps? https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/
Oct 4 2017
Duplicate of https://feedback.bistudio.com/T119534
Please don't create duplicate issues if you already know they exist.
Do you know which file has invalid format? I can't see that from the dwi.
Your ArmaReport_Log already contains crash dumps and RPT no need to upload duplicates.
Please don't put RPT content into your message.

The fix would be Steam fixing their GameOverlayRenderer64.dll. I didn't check if it got an update yet.
This is essentially a Steam Bug not Arma.
@tiagofmorais777 Don't post here. And upload your report log https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/
@AlcoNerd Your report doesn't contain any crashdumps. Do you still have the issue?
Oct 1 2017
There are 0 crash dumps in your report. Your RPT says your game ran just fine today. And then suddenly stopped. As in being killed by Windows.
Real file is https://feedback.bistudio.com/F83540
Actually also quite easy to do. Because the textures are really just hiddenSelectionTextures usually.
The problem is detecting that an item has different variants. I guess you could go through every config class. And all items with the exact same model but different hiddenSelectionTextures...
Looks like steam overlay crash.
Your crash report is a empty 0 byte file.
Sep 30 2017
Please use search before opening new issues.
Duplicate of https://feedback.bistudio.com/T126819
The problem is not Arma. It's Steam.
Steam will try to repair that file if it detects that it is missing. It is probably doing that while you start Arma. Even though overlay is disabled and it shouldn't do that Steam still does it.
They pushed a update to that file 3 days ago. Shortly before the crashes started to appear everywere.
you could create a dummy file with the same name and write-protect it so that Steam cannot overwrite it.
Without the crash log your report is useless. https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/general/ Please upload that file.

Can you upload the Report for the new crash?
Sep 29 2017
Confirmed. Delete/rename GameOverlayRenderer64.dll from Steam directory.
Upload crashdump: https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/ Otherwise this report is useless.
Looks like steam overlay crash. Callstack doesn't match. But final crash location matches.
Please upload your crashdump: https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/
Even if you solved it.. You now have the chance to help everyone else with the same issue.
