This seems to be platform independet (PC, PS, XBOX)
It still happens on stable 1.16. I am using a Playstation server on nitrado and provided detailed reports at https://forum.nitrado.net/thread/19762-whitelisted-players-kicked-out-of-server-with-not-whitelisted-error-when-game-se/
It seems whitelist.txt is at time read when the file is "locked", thus it reads an empty file (or fails to read). DayZ server detects it, and repeats the loading of the whitelist.txt right after.
However, this is enough to kick out all players.

This!! A better combo lock UI would be wonderful.
Finding food and water really isn't that difficult. If you're new, continue playing and learn the places you should be looking. Or, checkout beginner guides. You can also play on community servers with boosted loot to help you learn basics.

Not sure about tents, but you do log (in the .adm log) the "Packed" action for all of the craftable shelters,
so it makes no sense to me why you wouldn't do the same for all of the tents.

I'm not saying YOU personally must remember the number. I'm saying the player avatar/game should remember the number once a lock has been set or unlocked for the first time, prompting an auto unlock option every time you want to open the lock from then on, making gate traversal quick and easy without need for fiddly controls each and every time ;)
I do remember the number.. it’s the time I spend unlocking.. and I’m saying if I can save 5 seconds every time then (potentially) a thousand times then that’s a lot of time saved.. and this game is aimed at realism… being able to change the lock not only right and up but also left and down would make it SEEM more realistic. .. I obviously understand that DayZ is a video game.

Just make it so you can remember the damned number and open the lock in a single click. Realism be damned, this is a game and nothing in it is the slightest bit realistic.

I forgot I had my experimental character lol! and the issue does not persist in experimental, solely in stable. Sorry, I should have made that more clear in my intro post.

I disagree. I am on server with at most 13 players. Just getting into one it starts glitching. I have several videos that I have recorded of the issue. I'll be submitting my own bug for this with those videos.

If you play on a low/medium population server its mostly fine but high population or alot of gunfights with dead bodies tend to cause cars to go whack with dispositioning and bouncing.

We have tested this thoroughly but we were unable to reproduce the issue you have described. Only problem might be that by default belt inventories are closed as container and you need to use the arrow on them to open them. Which is something we will look into.

It is possible that the issues you are experiencing are related to the changes you have made to the modifiable files.
Im having very similar issues tbh but this has only been happening since 1.16 dropped Getting crashes all the time and random Geometry and animation errors, been back and fourth with nitrado for 4 days and they keep telling me its fixed everytime they do something new, now the sent me to this site to try and get some info. Ive tried everything to get it solved, The weird thing is i have 4 servers and one of them is identical to the one im having issues with but that server is not getting any issues. If you hear anything would love to know what the problem was. good luck
