I've noticed this with barrels sometimes, but not all the time.

The battery is most likely dead, this is an issue when reconnecting to the server, it'll show batteries full when its not and for some reason the batteries aren't updating correctly unless you take them out of NVG and put them back in.

Have you tried to delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ? Also, Since you mentioned this started to occur from a specific point, were there any changes on your computer that could have caused this?

Ok I tested it out on a vanilla server (with eft tools)
Only mophine after it ended made me go limping again.
Then I used an epi and I could not run
so after a few seconds I used another Moprhine

This is the intended behaviour.
When the quickbar is disabled, pressing tilde makes it appear for a brief moment. Alternatively, if quickbar is enabled, pressing tilde will hide it.

I am with the same problem since 1.09 this happened after I lowered all the volume of the sound of the microphone (since there was a guy yelling through the speakers) in the game menu, after that I could never speak into the microphone again

Sorry about that. Kinda weird behavior though.
I guess the tilde temporarily overrides that setting but it then disappears on purpose?
