Anthony Geisler has become a driving force in the boutique fitness world, transforming how Americans approach their workout routines. With a keen eye for opportunity and a passion for entrepreneurship, Geisler has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to identify promising fitness concepts and scale them into nationwide phenomena.
Born into a working-class family in Southern California, Geisler's entrepreneurial spirit emerged early. Shortly after graduating from the University of Southern California in 1999, he created and sold a web development business, marking the beginning of his business career. However, it was in 2001 that Geisler found his true calling in the fitness industry.
After training at a boutique boxing gym in Costa Mesa, Geisler recognized an untapped potential. He purchased the gym and set about expanding it nationally. Under his leadership, the brand grew to encompass locations in 35 states before he successfully sold it in 2012. This experience laid the groundwork for Geisler's future successes in the fitness franchising world.
In 2015, Geisler acquired a small Pilates brand with just 30 locations. Applying his franchising expertise and business acumen, he rapidly expanded the company. Within two years, he had quadrupled the number of studio locations and attracted significant investment from private equity firm TPG Growth.
Geisler is the innovator behind some of the largest boutique fitness franchising companies in the world. His portfolio includes well-known brands in cycling, rowing, stretching, and yoga, among others. With a goal to open more than 500 franchises yearly over the next five years, Geisler continues to shape the future of the fitness industry.
Geisler also received the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Award in Orange County.
